Event summary

The Rose of Sharon Children’s Foundation is hosting this fundraiser for the benefit of Serenity, Inc. Foster Care and Adoption, whose Therapeutic Learning Center provides specialized programming for young victims of abuse, ages 2-5 years of age. This preschool setting helps the children begin the healing process to overcome the personal traumas and developmental challenge they face. This program is totally funded by private donations, grants, and fundraisers. Every $300 raised will support one child’s participation!

Those who wish to register as individuals, sponsor a team, or donate any amount to the RSCF Golf Classic can do so by check, payable to RSCF and mailed to 600 S. Grand Avenue, Covina, CA 91724, or credit card via pay pal on the website: www.roseofsharoncf.com

“Some people may not realize just what their individual support could mean for each child needing the benefits of the Therapeutic Learning Center program.

My daughter, (one year old at the time), was one of the children in the very first TLC program.  We were there on the first day of the big launch! The social workers were beyond excited as they peeked in to see the children. I will never forget the love and care each child received from Jennifer, Linda, Sharon and all the Serenity staff. I always thought of TLC as a preschool, but so many times better because of the individualized care the children received according to each child’s identified needs. My daughter is now 22 years old.

TLC has blessed many children, but we have also seen them sadly, have to temporarily close their doors before, due to lack of funding.  I pray the doors of TLC remain open and that the program thrives as it continues to touch the lives of children whose needs are so great!”
